The Silica Shake

This shaker was a gift from a fan. The large pod-shaped urn is full of glass stones. The Glass Orchestra has developed a philosophy with respect to instruments that break - instead of one instrument you suddenly have 2 or more new instruments. Should there be many more than this then, in the grand tradition of recycling, the players will add yet another instrument to our collection of glass shakers and glass maracas.

shake2Another view of Rick's silica shake. It does look much better in person.

Like the sands in and hourglass
the inevitable has happened:
The SILICA SHAKE IS NO MORE.

Broken by a SUB!!! when Rick was out of town.
