Date: Tue, 3 Nov 1998 12:57:56 -0500 (EST) From: Steven Roberts Subject: JM's -Driving Directions JM's Driving directions Address: 2345-B Dundas St. West - phone number of bar: 416 535-1324 North west corner of Bloor St. West and Dundas St. West The major cross streets are - Dundas Street West and Bloor Street West which are situated in between the following: east of KEELE STREET and west of LANSDOWNE AVENUE. The road that continues just south of the corner of Joe Mercury's is called RONCESVALLES AVENUE. TIME of event: 7 PM start - movie is approx at 8 PM. BEST DRIVING ROUTES: I can't personally attest to the shape/condition of the roads that I am outlining .... if there is construction/delays... I am sorry. I don't have a car anymore to see these routes daily. Generally the best route if you are coming from the: FROM THE WEST - 1) Come down Hwy. 427 and come to the Toronto bound QEW. 2) Then you will see a split of the end off the QEW when it turns into the Gardiner Expressway. One ramp goes to the Gardiner...one goes to LAKESHORE BOULEVARD. Take the LAKESHORE exit. 3) You will pass several traffic lights for the roads Windermere Ave and Ellis Avenue. The THIRD SET OF TRAFFIC LIGHTS is PARKSIDE DRIVE. Get into the left hand lane as you will have to TURN LEFT onto PARKSIDE DRIVE. 4) You will drive approx 1.25 kilometres alongside a large park called High Park (on your left hand side). Continue northbound to the end of the park (I believe the 3'rd set of lights) and this will be BLOOR STREET. TURN RIGHT on BLOOR STREET. 5) You will drive approximately 0.75 kilometres to the next set of lights which will be DUNDAS STREET WEST. Joe Mercurys will be on your left hand side of the intersection. FROM THE EAST - 1) Hwy. 401 to the Don Valley Parkway SOUTH. 2) Continue to the end of the Don Valley Parkway where it turns into the GARDINER EXPRESSWAY WEST. Proceed westbound. 3) After approx 7 kilometres - get off on the JAMESON AVENUE off ramp. 4) Continue to the top of the ramp and drive along straight ahead to a set of traffic lights. PROCEED STRAIGHT THROUGH the lights where you will see two on ramps - one to go back onto the Gardiner Expressway.... STAY LEFT and go to the LAKESHORE BOULEVARD ramp. 5) Drive approximately 2 kilometre to the first set of lights/offramp for PARKSIDE DRIVE. TURN RIGHT onto the northbound Parkside Drive. 6) See steps 4) and 5) for the WESTBOUND DIRECTIONS above. Comments/advice/further info can be added upon.
