I have to add a "me, too", here. This type of feature would be
especially useful to me when replying to posts and email that have
been created by such programs as Netscape. The "Mozilla" stuff can be
really hard on my eyes (and my nerves) :)... Sometimes, I go ahead
and manually re-wrap the quoted portions of such posts. But, it is
time-consuming.

I am one of those "expire -r" people :). I do understand what you
