Can't help with a Linux binary, Dane, but you really should be
using the newer uqwk 2.05 from:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~js/warez/js-ware.html
It is a lot more stable than 1.8 and fixes a few bugs (like the
segmentation fault" for one).
