Using UQWK, I would guess?

I'm assuming it's a SLIP/PPP connection?

There's several ways to do that, if you have a SLIP/PPP connection. The
option I use is Souper/GUI. It's a nice W95 application that lets you
download and upload your news and mail, and requires fairly minimal
setup. I can't seem to find it on the net anymore...if you are also
unable to, let me know, and I'll see if I can find a .ZIP of it, and
e-mail it to you, or upload it to my web site, and let you grab it from
there.
Oh, and one other little thing... I don't know what text editor you're
using to compose your messages...but you really need to figure out how
to change the line lengths on it. 72 characters or less is best.
