The DHESC-FS will only accept as valid, a ground school course
provided by a Canadian Flying School that holds an Operating
Certificate for Aeroplane PPL training issued by Transport Canada.
Anyone can offer a ground school course, so be careful with your
selection - especially with the online courses. You must receive
proof of the instruction, with certified entries of subject matter
and hours of instruction in your Pilot Training Record, or
the equivalent.
Courses offered in traditional classroom settings are offered at
several locations within the GTA. An new alternative is to take a
web-based course offered online. |
